I can’t believe I am writing about Keenan Burton in week 3 of fantasy football play. Bulger, L Robinson, and Avery are hurt after a beat down from Green Bay. The last WR standing is Keenan Burton. He is a 2nd year player listed at 6 ft 206 lbs and 24 y/o. That is pretty much all I know about him. He had 3 catches for 37 yards in the GB game. This will sound desperate but I realistically believe that Burton wil put up some decent numbers the rest of the year.  Boller isn’t the best QB in the world but he does have 7 years of NFL experience. They are going to have to throw a great deal. Mainly because they are going to be trailing by double digits most of the year. This being said Burton is a sleeper fantasy play that most people won’t even think to pick up.  I don’t think the Rams are as bad as the Lions of last year. Spags is too good of a coach to let that happen. Steven Jackson will carry the load and Burton will be the outlet WR. Granted, all this changes if Spags makes a trade with his old boss in Philly for Reggie Brown. I think that is a distinct possibility.

I had a rough week in fantasy play going 1-4 in my five leagues. At least I’m still alive in my suicide pool (I took the Eagles). I’ll give you all my thoughts on this wacky week later in the day. I just wanted to get Burton out there so you can all put in for him off waivers.
